Boredom!! AHHHH!!!! Well since I've got nothing to do at the moment I think I'll ramble on here for awhile. A few minutes ago I was reading all these notes Sandra and I wrote to each other during our freshman year and they were really funny. Mostly we were just complaining about our world geography class and the gross fruity teacher. We also like to whine about band and ramble about hot guys. Very interesting.

In two days, I will have been with Robby for seven months. Craziness. Yesterday I really annoyed him by messing with his punked-out hair and he tried to retaliate by doing the same thing to me but I have un-mess-up-able hair. So :-P.

I haven't seen alot of my friends in awhile *sob*. I feel an Ex-Pit Member reunion is about to happen at Starbucks sometime in the near future... actually, it doesn't only have to be ex-pit members. The more the merrier when it comes to coffee. Or guys... hehehe. Nah, I'm just joking. I've graduated past my multiple guy stage, which ended somewhere in late November/early December. Before then, I was quite the pimpstress. That was pretty fun.
I'm still wielding the battle scars from drum camp. I have annoying red pinch marks on my stomach and my left arm. I got the one on my left arm when I was holding hi-hat for the snares. Apparently a small piece of skin was in between the cymbals, and I didn't notice until the drummers started banging away with their sticks. Ouch. Oh, and on my right arm I have a string of bruises from who knows what. Band can be a very dangerous thing.

Woohoo! UNT drum camp is finally over. I was getting pretty sick of crashing cymbals together from 8:30 am to 9 pm. Terrible, I know. My shoulders and arms are really killing me. It did have its fun moments though. We had a big concert at the end and during our performance I ran into two snare drummers. Oops. I was kinda freaked out when it happened but after our show was over and we sat down, I just laughed at myself. Good times...

We also got our opener music for next year. It's called "Mystery Fanfare/Zorba The Greek". Apparently Zorba the Greek is a Beatles song but I've never heard of it. It's really fast music. There are three tempos in it that in order are 162, 72, and 172. Considering that I've never marched before, this is going to be really interesting. And luckily I only have whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, and eighth notes. No crazy sixteenth rhythms or anything particularly difficult, which is good.
